His artistic research has focused mainly on discovering new techniques, styles and trends. After an academic career, his works already capture the essence of Symbolist and Surrealist painting. For a short period he painted pieces that were more classical and hyperrealistic, but he was not satisfied until he became an Expressionist. Professional art critics appreciate his paintings for having a truly unique perspective on the landscape.
