Giovanni Faliero (XX-XXI) - Quiete Dorata

Refined oil painting on canvas in an impressionist taste, depicting a semi-reclining female figure in an antique armchair, wrapped in a drapery of light fabric with golden reflections. The absorbed gaze and relaxed pose convey a sense of intimacy and surrender, while the contrast between the dark background and the luminous brushstrokes on the fabric and skin creates a strong effect of depth and movement. Work executed with loose and impasto brushwork, typical of the Italian figurative painting tradition. Signed bottom right. Technique: oil on canvas Subject: female figure in an armchair State of conservation: excellent An artwork of great atmosphere, ideal for those who love figurative painting with a classical flavor revisited in a modern key.
