The bird is finished in a high-gloss iridescent deep blue and black glaze with an orange-tan wing, while the tail feathers feature muted tones of green, brown, and tan accented with blue eyes. The top of the base bears a cursive signature reading Giuseppe Armani. The side of the base features a blue crowned N mark and a copyright symbol followed by 2003 FLORENCE. The underside contains a printed oval mark reading FLORENCE GIUSEPPE ARMANI Made in Italy, accompanied by a white adhesive manufacturer label identifying the piece as Peacock, model 7874L, Made in Italy.
