Glencadam Tawny Port Cask Finish From Highland distillery Glencadam's historic dunnage warehouses, master distiller Robert Fleming selected single malt matured in bourbon American oak casks, married them together, and then finished them in Tawny Port barriques from Portugal. It was bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration and with its brilliant natural colour. Nose Rich dark fruits and candied cloves with hints of blackcurrant liquorice and baking spices. Palate Layers of brambles, blackcurrant jam, treacle toffees, and Morello cherries leading into plum crumble and cedarwood spices. Finish Warming notes of walnut, golden syrup, and Victoria sponge cake fading into toasty wood spices. Glencadam Riserva di Amarone For this single malt, Glencadam's master distiller selected a host of bourbon cask matured whisky from its historic dunnage warehouses, then married and finished it in Amarone wine casks sourced from Italy. The rich, dry red wine casks offer up layers of dark chocolate, coffee, and red fruits to join the rich, biscuity malt at its core. Nose Waves of cherry Bakewell with toasted marzipan, Turkish delight, dried fruits, and baking spices. Palate Jammy cherries and red fruits open the way, with hints of strawberry laces and ginger snap biscuits backed by candied orange, and dustings of cocoa. Finish Dark chocolate cherries, mocha, and warming, woody spice.
