Bottle details: - Brand: The Glenlivet - Expression: 12 Years Old - Style: Unblended All Malt Scotch Whisky - Distillery: The Glenlivet Distillery - Producer: George & J. G. Smith Ltd. - Region: Speyside, Scotland - Alcohol: 43% vol. - Bottle size: 75cl each - Number of bottles: 3 - Bottled in Scotland - Italian importer: Seagram Italia S.p.A., Milano 2 – Segrate - Bottling period: vintage bottlings, probably dating from the 1980s All three bottles feature the distinctive historic Glenlivet presentation of the period, including the green glass, red closures, cream-coloured labels and the characteristic "Unblended all malt Scotch Whisky" wording. The rear labels feature the portrait and history of George Smith, founder of The Glenlivet Distillery, together with the historic "Established 1824" reference. The bottles were imported for the Italian market and retain original period tax seals/labels where visible. Condition: All three bottles are sealed and have good fill levels for their age. The labels show visible signs of age, including staining, discolouration, foxing and general age-related wear. The neck labels and original closures also show signs of ageing. One bottle has a more visibly worn/damaged tax seal than the others. No visible leakage is apparent. Please carefully examine all photographs, which form an integral part of the description and show the exact three bottles included in this lot. An attractive matching collection of three historic The Glenlivet 12 Years Old Unblended All Malt bottlings, particularly interesting for collectors of vintage Scotch whisky and historic Italian-market releases.
