Gold Nugget- 0.14 g - (1)

The gold in this lapland nugget already existed before the Sun. It was forged more than 4.6 billion years ago in explosions and collisions of stars, before the Sun and the Earth existed. It drifted through space as stardust and became trapped in the parent rock of Lapland, almost 2 billion years old. Then it spent millennia beneath Arctic ice, until melting brought it to the rivers. Gold is neither manufactured nor printed: it is found. And there will be no more. In 1868, an expedition found it in the Ivalo River and unleashed the first Finnish gold fever. In 1945, just after the war ended, men returning from the front went up to Lemmenjoki to try their luck with gold. Even today, every summer, dozens of prospectors wash it under the midnight sun; the rest of the year, snow and polar night cover everything. Lapland produces very little gold, and no two nuggets are alike: this one is unique. Why do you need gold? Those men were coming out of a war and went looking for gold. It’s no coincidence: in every war, many of those who had to flee with the clothes on their backs took gold with them, because it fits in a pocket and is valuable across any border. Wars return today, debt keeps growing, and talk of collapse abounds. The money in your account is a promise from the bank; gold is nobody’s promise, and no government can print it. To survive a crisis you don’t need a bar, but something you can divide and trade. That’s why nuggets are the most practical way to own gold: small, divisible, interchangeable, and recognizable anywhere in the world. The moment to have them is before you need them. You will receive it in a small glass vial that protects it and lets you admire it without touching it. I’ll ship it as soon as possible after payment. A piece of the oldest Arctic not older than the Sun, to safeguard what you have. There’s only one: bid for it. Ideal for: • Natural mineral and gold nugget collectors • Collectors of native gold of high purity • Lovers of the history of the Australian gold rush • Fans of unique geological specimens • Those who value physical gold as a real, tangible asset • An extraordinary gift for someone special Important information for the buyer: The final auction price includes VAT. The buyer is paying the corresponding tax with the winning bid amount. The seller is not responsible for any additional taxes, duties, import charges, customs holds, or any other cost or issue that may arise in the buyer’s country of destination.
