Golden Cockerel Press.- Shakespeare (William) Twelfth Night, an almost complete set of unbound sheets (lacking only pp.67/68), with 28 (of 29) wood-engravings by Eric Ravilious printed in grey and brown, with prospectus, some additional sheets and 2 copies of text proofs in early settings of pp.2-3, 1932; and a quantity of other material from the press including prospectuses with their original manuscript copy, lay-outs & proofs (many annotated in pencil), loose sheets from several books (some trials & proofs including 2pp. trial printing of The Four Gospels), advertisements for Christmas cards etc., a large unidentified original woodblock of dancers on a stage surrounded by putti (c.165 x 250mm.), and a group of A.Ls.s. from Geoffrey Rawson to Christopher Sandford concerning the publication of Matthew Flinders' Narrative, loose in cloth-backed board folders, v.s. (a box) *** Including wood-engravings by Eric Gill, Robert Gibbings, John Buckland Wright, Ravilious, and others.
