Golden Forest Light - Amanda Horvath

Golden Forest Light by Amanda Horvath Painting 24.0 x 30.0 :: This painting is reminiscent of a forest glade in the full glorious colours of nature. Expressing a tranquil glade with the dance of light and shadow beneath a vibrant forest canopy the painting will brighten any space with beautiful colour. The blend of reds amber and golden tones reflects depth and mystery crafting an emotional landscape that invites the observer to step into a world where there is narrative and tranquillity. An original artwork one of a kind this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on a deep edge canvas that does not need a frame. I begin with observation of the place making notes and taking photographs to work from in the studio. From these beginnings I work intuitively painting some base layers with a brush and then impasto techniques layer on layer applied with a palette knife harnessing optical mixing techniques employed by the impressionists and some of the methods of the old masters such as scumbling and glazing. I continue working until the painting reaches a natural conclusion. The result is a contemporary painting which lies on the intersection between abstraction and realism. The painting continues round the sides it is signed on the front and is ready to hang. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Fine Art Subject: Botanical Width: 24.0 Height: 30.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
