Golden Reliquary Rahu and Garuda – The Eclipse and the Ascent – Inversion of Fate and Ascension. On one face, Rahu swallows the star in his dark maw; on the other, Garuda spreads his wings to take flight. This reliquary unites the eclipse that unsettles fate and the celestial bird that rises above obstacles. In the great mythology of sanctuaries, Rahu and Garuda are two giants of sacred cosmology, immortalized by their quest for the elixir of immortality. Rahu upends the ordinary course of things: by engulfing the star, the shadow titan provokes the eclipse, that moment of rupture where cycles interrupt to impose a change of fortune. Its shadowy figure absorbs the curses that weigh on existence and dissolves old blockages. Garuda brings the complementary dynamic: after the obscuration comes the light of the sky. The king of birds, conqueror of the gods, embodies speed, mastery of the heavens and triumph over hindering forces. Rahu changes the sky by swallowing the star; Garuda changes height into territory of conquest. This pendant unites the rupture of dark cycles and the momentum of a recovered ascent. Rahu devours what darkens your trajectory; Garuda lifts you from the ground and carries you to the heights. Blockages yield, movement returns and your sphere of action widens. This reliquary accompanies changes of course, stance-taking and moments when it is necessary to leave a situation to move to a higher level. Obverse: Phra Rahu gold on a scarlet red enamel background and Unalome symbols. Reverse: Golden Garuda bird king with enamelled wings (red, white, blue) on emerald green enamel background. Mount: Reliquary with finely chiselled golden finishes. Dimensions: 61x41x14mm. Weight: 36g. On this reliquary, history continues in every detail: a maw that swallows the star, wings that take to the sky, and between the two, the secret of a singular alliance. Rahu — He who swallows the star The figure of Rahu gripping the moon symbolizes the power of the eclipse, that moment when the usual order is broken. In astrological tradition, this celestial mask absorbs dark influences and tilts trials to turn them into opportunities for victory. Garuda — He who takes to the heights The king of birds with wings spread embodies speed and mastery of upper spaces. His presence instills the momentum needed to overcome obstacles, elevating your reputation and expanding your field of action above the turbulence. The Eclipse and the Ascent — The meaning of the alliance Rahu opens the way by absorbing what blocks; Garuda then takes to the height. One upends the balance of power, the other turns this change into movement and ascent. The photographs were taken in sunlight using dedicated photographic equipment to accurately reproduce the details, reliefs and nuances of the object.
