Good 19th century two-day marine chronometer by James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, No. 511, signed 4" silvered dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, fifty-four hour power reserve indicator over a constant seconds dial, gold spade hands, signed brass full plate fusee movement with maintaining power, Earnshaw type detent escapement and compensated balance with a helical hairspring and diamond endstone, in a brass case with sliding winding hole shutter and gimbal mount within a 6.25" square brass bound mahogany three-tier case with a numbered plaque and side carry-handles (with winding key and case key)
