Good figured walnut eight day longcase clock with six pillar movement, the 10.75" square brass dial signed William Wise, Wantage on the silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial, ringed winding holes and calendar aperture, the dial centre engraved with a Tudor rose and cherub spandrels, the later figured walnut case with long door flanked by canted fluted pilasters and the hood surmounted by a flat pediment over a dentil carved cornice, 73" high (with pendulum and two weights)
