GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1711. London Mint. Anne. PCGS Genuine--Chopmark, Good Details. S-3618; KM-533.2; Murphy-Fig. 186 (Plate Coin). 4th Bust. A single incuse letter chop on the reverse, "R" (meaning unknown), that appears to be a broken punch. This well-worn example displays lovely old envelope patina with a slight iridescent sheen that pops out when tilted in the light. The chop is well applied on an evenly worn host with no major distracting marks. A pleasing example of the type offering much originality and good eye appeal. Estimate: $100 - $200.
