Great White Shark Taxidermy full body mount - Carcharodon...

The great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is a cartilaginous fish of the Lamnidae family. The only living representative of the genus Carcharodon, this shark is the largest predatory fish currently on the planet, as well as the third largest fish of all time, after the whale shark and the elephant shark. The term Carcharodon comes from ancient Greek karcharódōn (composed of kárcharos, meaning "sharp", with odóntos, meaning "tooth"). KARCHARÍAS, however, means "shark", so the final meaning is deduced: "shark with sharp teeth". The mouth of the great white shark is equipped with several rows of teeth: triangular and serrated on the upper jaw to shred prey, long and pointed on the lower jaw to stab and hold the prey. Exceptional tooth of the lower anterior arch. Dimensions: 36 mm x 22 mm. Sharpening perfectly delineated, enamel of the highest quality, tooth completely free from imperfections. Very beautiful! A must-win bid. Sale intended only within European countries.
