A group of three late 19th or early 20th-century European bisque porcelain figurines, each in the form of footwear. The largest piece is a rococo-style slipper in matte white porcelain, featuring molded scroll and shell motifs, applied floral garlands, and two seated cherubs wearing blue and pink sashes. The underside of this slipper bears incised characters that are not clearly legible. The second figurine depicts a Victorian-style high-heeled shoe with a peach-colored heel, showing a boy in a black top hat and a girl in a blue bonnet peering from the opening; the front is decorated with an applied rose and forget-me-nots. The base of the high-heeled shoe features handwritten graphite marks reading X A D K and a separate X. The third figurine depicts a child in a blue dress and bonnet leaning over a blue lace-up boot. The underside of the boot shows an incised number 311 or 511 that is not sharply defined. Three pieces total. Dimensions: 9"W x 6.5"H Weight: 2.02 lbs Condition Request Condition Report Good.
