GuS Saint-AmouR (1974) - StReEt BiRd

GuS, a French visual artist, recognized internationally, whose works have been sold at auction and prize-winning in numerous competitions. His creations stand as true little street art gems to collect. His latest hand-painted piece on a 50×15 cm traffic sign panel (taken from the road network and recycled) is imbued with the poetry of mural wildlife. The panel can be hung on a wall or placed on a piece of furniture. His market is robust: he forges a unique visual confrontation. He juxtaposes the obsessive hyperrealism of wildlife with the expressive brutality of graffiti and the Pop-Rock advertising iconography. An authenticity certificate personally signed by the artist will be provided. Each canvas is an urgent mirror that questions our place and that of the living in our urban world. His recurring subjects – animal advocacy and Vanities – testify to a powerful reflection. His secret and strength: GuS is color-blind. This trait forced him to deconstruct chromatic rules to create a bold visual language that sometimes verges on abstraction. Buy GuS to acquire a world view filtered, reinvented, and acclaimed by the market.
