The most extensive description covers the period 1923-1965, the time when the characteristic outlying-line rolling stock ran at 1200 volts on the HTM's outlying lines. In this regard, both the history of this rolling stock and the history of the lines from The Hague via Rijswijk to Voorburg and Delft and via Wassenaar to Leiden, the 'Gele tram' (Yellow tram), receive full attention.
