Haledon, New Jersey. $10 1929 Ty. 2. Fr. 1801-2. Haledon NB. Charter

Haledon, New Jersey. $10 1929 Ty. 2. Fr. 1801-2. Haledon NB. Charter #12854. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. Another scarce note from the likes of New Jersey dating to the 1930s. This lightly handled T2 $10 issued by the Haledon National Bank (Charter# 12854) is a fine exemplar of the 23 notes recorded by the National Bank Note Census. Yet a caveat is warranted as T2s recorded on this bank are strongly outnumbered by their T1 counterparts. To that end, this example is one of only five T2 Nationals recorded here by the National Bank Note Census and stands as arguably the finest for both the type and denomination making this a truly exceptional note for the issuing bank. Estimate: $600 - $800. Click here for certification details from PMG.
