Hand-knotted Antique Chinese Rug – Art Deco - Carpet - 290 cm - 237 cm

This exceptional antique China rug in the Art Deco style captivates with its intense deep-blue field and the artistically distributed floral and Asian-inspired motifs. The generous, open design gives the rug an elegant and representative effect despite its rich ornamentation. Fine, detailed blossoms, branches, vases, and stylized nature motifs in pink, apricot, gold, light blue, and other accent colors form an appealing contrast to the vivid dark blue. The asymmetric arrangement of the decors is characteristic of Chinese rugs of this style and makes the piece a striking focal point.
