More Info Ziegler carpets are true masterpieces of craftsmanship and an expression of timeless elegance. These carpets originate from Pakistan, a region known for its long tradition of rug knotting. The name "Ziegler" derives from the British-Swiss company of the same name, which began producing these special carpets in Pakistan in the 19th century and exporting them to Europe and America. What makes Ziegler carpets unique is their unmistakable color palette and design. They are characterized by soft, subtle colors that are dyed with a special technique to give the carpets an antique, slightly faded look. These colors, often combined with floral patterns and harmonious designs, make Ziegler carpets a popular element in interior design, as they blend seamlessly into both modern and traditional spaces. The production of a Ziegler carpet is an elaborate process that requires patience, precision, and a deep knowledge of the art of rug knotting. Each carpet is handmade, often from high-quality wool, which gives the rug not only a special softness but also a long durability. The result is a rug that is not only visually appealing but also distinguished by its high quality and longevity. In addition to their aesthetic beauty, Ziegler carpets are also known for their versatility. They can be used in living spaces as well as in business environments and fit a wide range of interior styles. A Ziegler carpet adds warmth and character to any room and tells the story of a centuries-old tradition. A Ziegler carpet is more than just a floor covering—it is a work of art that embodies history, craftsmanship, and timeless beauty. Those who own a Ziegler carpet in their home possess not only a piece of rug art but also a piece of Pakistani culture and tradition.
