Handgemaakt - Dollhouse Hoekstoel - 1900-1910 - Belgium

Miniature (potentially for a dollhouse) carved oak corner chair (or corner chair) designed to fit in a corner of a room. Wood carving: Featuring detailed ornaments with a central mask on the backrest and symmetrical, sculptural woodcarving in the form of stylized acanthus leaves. The lower spindles with a floral motif. The seat is upholstered in fabric and fastened with tiny brass nails. Very finely finished, with actually every detail worked out. The chair measures H 19 x L 10 x D 10 cm.
