All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Handle (2) - 1850-1900

Splendid pair of original antique drop hanging handles, ideal for the restoration of antique furniture, dressers, desks or cupboards dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century (Victorian / Eastlake style). The handles are distinguished by the elegant material contrast between the finely worked metal and the warmth of the turned wood. Upper rosettes in perforated metal, silvered brass with raised floral/geometric decorations; central drop in dark ebonized wood (dark brown/black tone). Hanging drop structure hinged via ring, complete with rear threaded pin and small decorative lower terminal in brass. Excellent vintage condition, they show a beautiful original patina of time that attests to their authenticity. The wood is intact and the oscillation mechanisms are perfectly functional. They can be purchased for a conservative restoration of antique furniture, restoration projects and creations in the style "Shabby Chic" or "Industrial Vintage". Also for collectors of hardware and vintage/antique objects. Measurements: diameter 30 mm x 7 the length of the threaded rod, weight 50 g
