Descriptio Vintage liturgical crucifix. Amber Bakelite pectoral cross. Circa 1930. Compact Bakelite with various polishes and engravings. This vintage liturgical crucifix was designed as a pendant for members of religious orders. The figure of Christ is richly modeled on the cross, whose engraving simulates the wood. The front features Christ in high relief. The large ring, the scale, and the suspension system allow it to be worn with a nun’s or priest’s habit. Weight: 8.5 grams. No flaws. Dimensions: 2.0 cm thick.
