A small notch on the edge. • Material: Made of solid brass or bronze. • Design: Equipped with a hanging chain with hook, a tray to catch oil, and a lamp section with multiple wicks (often seven flames). Usage: This type of lamp was traditionally used in households and temples (pooja rooms) for rituals and to bring light. • Dating: Such pieces are often dated from the 19th century or earlier (sometimes 17th/18th century), depending on finish and wear.
