French Belle Époque Putto Pendant Lamp. Solid Patinated Bronze / Brass & Amber-Colored Glass, ca. 1900 Description Characterful and heavy French putto hanging lamp from the Belle Époque period (c. 1890–1910). The centrally cast figure depicts a floating cherub (angel), captured within an elegant garland of twisted branches and leaves. The lamp is fitted with two downward-facing rose goblets in a warm amber-colored/flamed matte glass finish. Thanks to its compact dimensions, complete condition and atmospheric light distribution, this is a highly sought-after and characterful object, extremely suitable for a classical interior, hallway or boudoir. Weighing no less than 3.0 kg for its compact size, the lamp reveals a high casting quality of solid metal (bronze/brass).
