Averla piccola - Lanius collurio - 6 x 12 x 17 cm - with a well-prepared and preserved mount. Splendid male specimen of the Lesser Shrike (Lanius collurio) skillfully naturalized. The bird is captured in a classic upright pose on a decorative branch stump with a stabilized base. Excellent state of preservation. Vivid and well-defined colors, with the typical brownish-chestnut back, ash-grey head, the distinct black eye mask, and the cream-tinted lower parts. A well-structured specimen, feathers lying flat and compact, beak and legs perfectly preserved in minute detail. Synthetic wooden stand with a stylized trunk effect and a protective base. An essential piece for ornithology collectors, educational displays, natural science museums, or to enrich interiors with a vintage naturalistic feel.
