All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Heilig Objects - Daniel Heilig - Stool - HAPPENS - Oak
- Prototype with slight irregularities in workmanship and quality - Made in 2026 - Material: oak from Germany - Made in Germany - Dimensions: 29 x 29 x 49 cm, weight: 19 kg - Color: oak / green melange The random constellation of diagonally leaning squared timbers reminds the designer of the tower with the world’s greatest tilt, Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, by RMJM Architects and ADNEC, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The upholstered ottoman HAPPENS is the result of playing with the concept of tilted towers. Four slanted, deftly balanced ottoman legs provide a stable seat on the hand-stitched fabric upholstery. The weighty ottoman sculpture can be easily carried through life by the solid wood-fixed leather handle. Wood: oiled oak, from ecologically responsibly managed forests. Seat upholstery: two-tone melange wool fabric with herringbone pattern, lightfast and eco-certified (100% polyester, Trevira CS). Hand loop: leather handle, full-grain, vegetable-tanned and fully dyed.
