Helion Arnstadt / Gitzo - Tripod floor lamp - Tripod light - Aluminium

This exceptional vintage lamp from the 1960s/70s combines an original Helion Arnstadt work lamp with a high-quality Gitzo aluminum tripod, reconfigured into a functional design object with a strong industrial and studio character. The extendable Gitzo tripod enables use as both a standing and a table lamp. With a variable height of approximately 85 to 190 cm, the lamp can be flexibly adapted to different rooms and usage scenarios. The original black Bakelite lampshade (Ø approx. 16 cm) sits on a movable gooseneck and allows precise light direction—ideal as reading, work, studio, or accent lighting. The roughly 3-meter-long black cable with integrated switch underscores the technical character of the lamp. Equipped with an E27 socket and compatible with modern LED bulbs. The combination of industrial DDR lighting technology and professional Gitzo photography equipment gives the object a sculptural presence with authentic mid-century and studio aesthetics. A distinctive one-off piece for collectors of industrial, Bauhaus, and vintage design.
