A rectangular guilloché silver gift box. The lid, which opens on a hinge, is engraved with a dedication from General Jacques Faure (1904–1988) to his solicitor, with an enamelled badge of the 1st Parachute Chasseurs Regiment (1st RCP) dated summer 1961 on the inside. Hallmarked with the Minerva mark (1st standard) and the silversmith’s mark. Signed “Mellerio – Paris” and numbered “C. 15 504”. Height: 3 cm – Width: 20.5 cm – Depth: 9.5 cm. Gross weight: 519 g.
