Hermann “Harry” CHRISTLIEB (1886–1967) Monkey Family, ca. 1911 A sculpted group depicting a pair of monkeys with their young. Patinated terracotta resting on a wooden base. Signed “H. Christlieb” on the plinth. This composition is similar to the *Affenfamilie* created by Harry Christlieb around 1911 for the Berlin Zoological Garden. The German sculptor devoted himself particularly to animal sculpture and created several depictions of primates. Height: 35 cm Width: 29.5 cm Weight: 8.350 kg
