Hermès Baby typewriter by Paillard S.A. Yverdon - Danish/Norwegian keyboard - Seafoam green original with case - 1960s Iconic portable Hermès Baby typewriter, designed by the famous Swiss manufacturer Paillard S.A. in Yverdon. This model, praised at the time by writers and reporters for its compactness and sturdiness, is presented in its characteristic textured green color ("Seafoam green") typical of the 1960s. Rare feature: It is equipped with a specific (extended QWERTY) keyboard with Scandinavian characters Æ, Ø, Å, making it a particularly interesting and sought-after piece. The machine is sold complete with its original rigid brown faux-leather carrying case with handle, perfectly protecting the item. Technical specifications: Brand: Hermès Model: Baby Manufacturer: Paillard S.A. Yverdon (Switzerland) Period: 1960s Keyboard layout: QWERTY Scandinavian (Danish/Norwegian) Materials: Metal body, original plastic keys Aesthetic condition: Very good state of preservation. The original paint is well preserved, and the "Hermès Baby" and "by Paillard S.A. Yverdon" markings are clearly legible and intact. The suitcase shows light signs of normal use for its age but remains sturdy and functional. Mechanical condition: The keys and character bars move freely (note: replacement of the ink ribbon recommended for optimal daily use).
