“Grande Livrée” by Marie Françoise Héron First edition 1965. Never reissued. Drawn by Marie Françoise Héron, the creator of the famous Hermès scarves “Le Timbalier”, “Passementerie” and “Théâtre d’ombre”. The books are the outfits of coachmen, in the colors of the office, whether king, noble or bourgeois. According to the dictionary: “a livery is the distinctive costume worn by certain male servants.” Magnificent drawings, magnificent details. A true work of art to frame. Hermès scarf, a rare and sought-after piece, in very good condition considering its great age. Bronze colors, superb, gray, on a cream background.
