Heuer Autavia 'Jo Siffert' Chronograph automatic stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, reference no. 1163, serial no. x433xx, silvered 'panda' dial with applied hour markers, seconds track, date aperture at the six position, subsidiary black thirty minute and twelve hour recording dials and blue chronograph centre seconds, bi-rotational bezel with black insert, Heuer crown at the nine position, Heuer cal. 11 17 jewel movement, tonneau case stamped 'Heuer-Leonidas SA' to the inside back, black racing leather strap with Heuer buckle, 42mm - ** Heuer Autavia 'Jo Siffert', named after the Swiss Formula 1 and Porsche driver Jo Siffert. In 1968 Siffert won the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, attracting the attention of Jack Heuer, who decided to sponsor the Swiss F1 driver. As part of the sponsorship, Siffert wore a Heuer Autavia reference 1163T. The original Autavia worn by Siffert featured the word chronomatic under the twelve.
