hexagram 9: restraint. - Jason Lincoln Jeffers

hexagram 9: restraint. by Jason Lincoln Jeffers Painting 48.0 x 24.0 :: 2026 acrylic plaster resin gilding fire glass spray paint holographic glitter (request video) on board. In this I Ching hexagram we see the idea of how something small or weak can tame the powerful. Yin is the gentle influence operating in Tao that magnetizes the powerful Yang. The feminine aspect of courtship shows how a strong element can be held in check through gentle submissiveness. You do not need to fight for what you want. In Small Restraint power grows because you are gently withholding its expression. Opposition is the hidden influence or mirror of how we meet our Shadow or repressed qualities in another. We may think someone is the enemy when they have come to set us free. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 48.0 Height: 24.0 Depth: 2 Weight: 10 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
