Ca. 1200 - 900 BC. A bronze sword with a long, straight-sided blade tapering to a point. A central rib extends along the blade, with shallow channels beside it. The guard is broad, with vertical notches. The hilt has a cylindrical grip with a central lozenge moulding and ends in a crescentic pommel. Size: 460mm x 65mm; Weight: 460g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in M. Ebnother collection, Switzerland, 1980s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
