Hoboken, New Jersey. $10 1882 Brown Back. Fr. 483. Second NB. Charter #3744. PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A tough note for a North Jersey locale that most would assume to be better-represented in the National Bank Note Census. The Second National Bank of Hoboken (Charter# 3744) boasts a recorded population of approximately 32 notes in the National Bank Note Census where the recorded notes represent a solid variety of various types and denominations. That figure does nonetheless record a number of Series of 1882 Brown Backs including this example which features the signatures of Cashier John Polhemus Scholfield and (Vice) President William Machold, but those notes are seldom traded making this a deceptively rare opportunity for a somewhat scarce bank. PMG comments "Tear Repair, Minor Stains." Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500. Click here for certification details from PMG.

Estimate:£672.77
