Holding Light - Timothy Gent

Holding Light by Timothy Gent Painting 15.7 x 11.8 :: Holding Light brings a quiet sense of light atmosphere and movement to any interior. Its luminous surface changes subtly with the surrounding light revealing fresh relationships between colour transparency and gesture throughout the day. Created with transparent watercolour ink and charcoal on archival paper the painting balances expressive mark-making with delicate washes of pale yellow blue and crimson. Rather than depicting a specific landscape it evokes the experience of changing light and remembered places allowing the paper itself to become an active source of luminosity. Both contemplative and dynamic Holding Light is a unique one-of-a-kind artwork signed by the artist and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. :: Type: Painting Medium: Watercolor Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 15.7 Height: 11.8 Depth: 0.2 Weight: 0.1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
