Holy water font - 1850-1900 - The Passion of Christ - 30 cm

Central European holy-water font from the second half of the nineteenth century, on a richly worked wooden base with painted plaster details. In the center, a Passion of Christ medallion finely carved in sea foam, of miniature high quality. A small holy-water dish in fine white porcelain, integrated into the composition. A rare example, of high antique quality, with a splendid patina of age. Good overall condition, object intact, with minimal natural signs of wear due to age. Size 30x12 cm.
