HONG KONG (SAR). Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China. 10 Dollars

Rare 1917 Chartered Bank 10 Dollars HONG KONG (SAR). Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China. 10 Dollars, 1.3.1917. P-42. KNB24. PMG Choice Fine 15. Violet, black and yellow-orange, pagoda and sampan at left, boat sailing in gorge at right, Bank arms at centre, the faint hand signed signature just about discernible at lower left, reverse violet and black, the Bank building at centre. A scarce early type without the 'TEN' in underprint and in constant demand locally, as these are seldom offered in public auctions. Please also note that the absence of repairs or any other negative traits is a huge bonus for these notes, as many vintage notes have been tampered with over the years. Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000.

Estimate:£1,135.11
