HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars

HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars, 1.4.1948. P-176e. KNB66d. PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ*. An exceptional large size Justicia 100 Dollar note in 55-EPQ*. PMG has awarded it the star note designation for the following reasons: 1. Exceptionally strong plate and/or overprint embossing 2. Vibrant ink colour 3. Pristine paper quality that exceeds the established standards for Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) designation. While notes in similar conditions are not particularly rare, this is the only example of this auspiciously coloured note with the difficult star designation that the cataloguer has encountered. An exciting item for even the most discerning collectors!

Estimate:£567.55
