Huge Nicely Preserved Sarcosuchus imperator Crocodile...

Scientific name: Sarcosuchus imperator, (Broin & Taquet, 1966) - Giant crocodile species Location: Gadoufaoua, Téneré Desert, Niger. Geological Formation: Erlhaz Fm Age: Lower Cretaceous, Aptian/Albian stage ( 113 million years) Size: 2,6 cm REF.: #S1027 DESCRIPTION: Here we introduce this beauty. It is an authentic tooth from this huge lower Cretaceous famous crocodile. The genus Sarcosuchus only can be found in the Lower Cretaceous outcrops from Erlhaz Formation in the Teneré desert in Niger. These are much less abundant and quite rare fossils than other upper cretaceous crocodiles as the Elosuchus genus from the Ifezouane Fm in South Morocco. Here we present you the opportunity to get an authentic tooth of the gorgeous genuine Sarcosuchus crocodile genus. Many crocodile teeth from the Cretaceous of North Africa labeled as Sarcosuchus can be found on the market. But they are mostly Elosuchus teeth from the Upper Cretaceous of Morocco and not authentic and genuine teeth of the true genus Sarcosuchus. All of our fossils come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Every week, the issued Certificates of Authenticity are updated in our database verification system on our website. If you find that your certificate has not yet been updated, please contact us and we will update it immediately. Display box included.
