It is among the only 100 luxury copies existing (numbered 1 to 100), specially bound and inserted under a full-color slipcase with a signed lithograph. • Binding & Slipcase: Luxury edition in a rigid cloth-covered hardcover format, protected by its fully cloth-covered terracotta/orange slipcase. The back of the slipcase bears the artist’s signature and the publisher’s name printed in white letters. • The Original Print (Tiré à part): The lot includes its superb original unbound lithograph, also numbered 2/100, printed on superb art paper with handsome deckle edges (deckle-tooled). It features a stunning watercolor by Hugo Pratt depicting an Indian woman framed by two colonial soldiers of the Indian Army.
