Icon - Archangel Michael - Silverplated, Wood

This is a sacred icon in hammered metal with a silver and gold finish, mounted on a wooden stand, depicting Archangel Michael in perfect Byzantine and Orthodox iconographic style. The design echoes the celebrated composition of medieval iconographers, characterized by outstretched wings rich in feathered detail and the flowing drapery of the robes. The piece is created with a relief metalworking technique that highlights the volumes of the figure, while the angel's face preserves the painted features typical of the Eastern painting tradition. On the lower-right edge there is a small rectangular metal stamp that indicates the trademark, origin, or the fineness of the metal used for the plating.
