It remains one of the most collectible vintage watches with American roots in the world. Gallet claimed to make pocket watches circa 1890s and the Gallet family were related to Jules Racine.. Hence this scarce dually branded chronograph. When Gallet made a huge move to the American market while always favored by collectors collectability has ramped up with new ownership.
