Important, large enamel plaque, circa 1650, probably from Blois

Ca. 69 mm in diameter, gilt silver setting, plaque presumably made of gold, early depictions of the Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus on both sides, the very fine enamel painting, presumably from Blois circa 1650, extremely rare! Enamel plaques from this period and of this quality are highly prized and appear only extremely rarely (https://www.cortrie.de/go/mdP).
