Old photogravure or reproduction on paper dating presumably from the early 20th century, depicting an elegant young woman dressed in antique manner, holding an amphora in an architectural setting inspired by Greco-Roman style. The piece is presented under glass in a remarkable antique wooden frame with rich molded decoration of scrolls, flowers and foliage, with a silvered finish and a beautiful patina of age. The work has remained in its old framing. The back preserves its protective backing, its old fastenings, and its hanging cord. Presence of normal signs of age: foxing and stains on the paper and the mat, patina, wear, crazing and small losses on the frame. These elements are clearly visible in the photographs and contribute to the antique character of the whole.
