INDIA 1926 (2 July) Sir Alan Cobham small printed cover...

INDIA 1926 (2 July) Sir Alan Cobham small printed cover carried on the Calcutta to Rangoon stage of the England to Australia flight, with India 1a tied 'Calcutta 2 JY 26', 'Rangoon 26 JY' arrival c.d.s on reverse, along with commem flight vignette. Rather poignantly, the cover is bordered in black, due to the death of the flight engineer, Arthur Elliot (who was shot by a stray bullet en route). Fine & scarce.
