industrie maioliche artistiche albisola - studio albisola...

An exceptional specimen of Italian mid-century ceramic artistry, likely hailing from the esteemed workshops of Albisola. This tall, cylindrical vessel commands attention with its sophisticated interplay of textures and glazes. The body is elegantly partitioned into horizontal registers, alternating between a rich, deep-toned metallic glaze with iridescent undertones and bands of pale, textured engobe. These cream-coloured friezes are adorned with exquisite relief figures, finished in a brilliant bronze lustre, evoking the timeless grandeur of ancient Mediterranean or Nilotic processions. The flared foot, dressed in a vibrant yet refined violet lustre, provides a striking contemporary anchor to this classically inspired masterpiece. Truly a conversation piece of the highest order, suitable for the most discerning of interiors.
