Interesting English 18th century miniature brass verge alarm lantern wall clock, signed to the silvered plaque Ellicott, London, 4.25" foliate engraved arched brass dial with applied Roman numeral chapter ring and alarm dial to the centre, single pierced iron hand, weight driven posted movement with verge escapement and short bob pendulum, surmounted by a bell over a solid plate and a pair of latched side panel doors and brass spikes to the base, 5.75" high (with lead weights) ** with a service receipt from John Robinette, Bury St Edmonds dated 21st April 1987 detailing the works undertaken at that time
