British/Napoleonic Scottish Army 1/72 Italeri - Painted and Basinted (Wargame) Splendid British formation in 1/72 scale (Italeri), entirely hand-painted with care and professionally bas supplemented according to the standards of major historical wargame rules (compatible with Black Powder, Napoleon's Battles, Shako, General d'Armée, etc.). Composition of the army and historical notes: Scottish Infantry (Highlanders): 70 figures in total, including a command base. Recognizable by their iconic uniforms, Scottish units were legendary for their ferocity and resolve in firefights and in close combat, often used as an assault force at critical moments of the Wellington campaigns. Cavalry (Scots Greys): 18 cavalrymen mounted on the characteristic grey horses. The famous Royal North British Dragoons (known as the “Scots Greys”) entered legend at the Battle of Waterloo, where they starred in a devastating charge against the columns of French infantry. Royal Artillery: 2 artillery pieces complete with gun carriages and 3 crew per cannon (total 6 crew). The precision and speed of fire of the British artillery posed a thorn in the side of any opposing formation.
