Italian school (XX) - Maternità, da F. Boucher

Splendid Rococo Painting "Motherhood" by F. Boucher – Oil on Twentieth-Century Canvas with Important Gold Leaf Frame Enchanting hand-painted work from the second half of the 20th century, refined modern interpretation of the famous Rococo masterwork "Mother and Child" by the French master François Boucher. The piece captures a sweetness of domestic interior scenes of days gone by. The painter demonstrates extraordinary technical ease: he abandons the rigidity of classicism to embrace a vibrant, impressionist brushwork, where rapid, loaded, and nervous strokes create a magnificent play of light and volumes. The bright red mantle of the maternal figure stands out, drawing light and contrasting magnificently with the warm, enveloping tones of the background. The work is signed at the bottom right by the skilled copyist master "Basi". Support and Frame: The painting (40x50 cm) is executed on an antique Italian craftsmanship-grade canvas, bearing on the back the original stamp of the prestigious paint factory "Pintura - Pure Cotton", mounted on a professional wooden frame with expansion corner keys. To magnificently enhance the canvas is a majestic contemporaneous frame finely decorated in relief with classic foliate gold motifs (overall measurements 53x64 cm), a true piece of high craftsmanship that adds depth and significance to the painting. Condition and Interior Decor: General conditions are absolutely excellent. The canvas is perfectly taut, colors are vivid and retain their original brightness; the back is clean and perfectly preserved, a sign of impeccable conservation in a humidity-free environment. Commercial value €300 A work of great charm and visual impact, ready to hang. It represents the ideal element to enrich an important wall, fusing the elegance of French 18th century with the freshness of the 20th-century material-painting. An exclusive piece of furnishing that will not go unnoticed. Note for bidders: The photo of the painting ambient in the room with a museum-like view is purely illustrative and demonstrative, intended to show proportions, charm and elegance of the work within an ideal display context. The frame and any mat are provided with the work as a complement and only as a gift. No responsibility is accepted for any damage.
